Brexit is going to extend it by at least 20yrs and it (austerity) has already rotted some levels of society ,it's not just about the struggle to live for many but of the fabric of society being stripped , by cuts to services , to a level it will never recover from ...

Austerity was never needed. It was used as an excuse to make people rich and manipulate people into thinking we need it, and to get the tories in power. You don't create wealth and prosperity by slowing spending and the economy.
