it may depend on how much i thought that my mom would be able to do with that knowledge,it seems a stressful situation to know what's happening n be unable to get there, hard also to be there n not be able to communicate, for all i know that may be harder than remembering them the way they were,if the worst comes to the worst

Maybe you could tell your mum that her sister isn't well but downplay the seriousness of her condition just for now, so if it does come to the worst, it might soften the blow a little. A difficult situation for sure, I hope it works out for you all.

For once, I feel I can make a contribution I can kinda relate to, dont say a word. Wait until they are strong enough to deal with it. It may break them else. My mum has already suffured a stroke. My 'dad' is another story. Just let them compose themselves, else it'd be a total mess (:

Sorry to hear that.. Yea i think its best if you wait till she been discharge from hospital.. i understand why u feel bad, but sometimes it just need to be done or the stress will probably do her more harm as she just went thru heart operation.
