@ newt182 - 21.04.21 - 06:12pm If only the court was run by an expert like you ffs I knew you wouldn't be able to accept anything that didn't fit you narrow view He recognized that the cop was found guilty; he just doesn't believe procedural fairness was entirely in the trial, especially the part about jury. Everyone is entitled to their opinion about the trial, but being in denial would be negating the reality of what happened which just isn't the case here. I for one think he is guilty, but ensuring due process is met absolutely can never be a bad thing. That's why we have appeal. |

I watched the trial; there's reasonable belief based on the judge's own obiter that the jury were intimidated and this can potentially refute the 'beyond reasonable doubt' part. But it's unlikely.

Of course he was guilty, the jury didnt need to be intimidated, 2nd and 3rd degree murder are extremely broad offences. If you know a crime is going to happen, but have no part in the crime and somone dies during the crime you can be convicted of 2nd or 3rd degree murder.
