3. No sector under Islamic rule were lost to the kuffaar forces. 4. No rebellion or uprising was reported against any of the Islamic provinces or governors..5.The instabilitytension and chaos which was prevalent before he took over was removed and did not reach here as long as he ruled. 6 The Islamic Navy was strenghtened and Muawiyah r.a. put it to great benefit by subduing the content of Roman threat.

THE AADAAB OF 7HAJJ.. When Allaah bestows His Favour on any fortunate person to perform the Fardh or Nafl Hajj, he should not delay at all in the execution of that duty, particularly the Fardh Hajj, because this only affords the shaytaan the opportunity to involve one in unnecessary activities which will keep him so busy, that the journey to the Holy Places is postponed or cancelled..

Allaah Ta3aala says in the Quraan, that shaytaan said: 'Because You have sent me astray, Lo! I will lie in wait for them on Your Straight way.. Then surely I will come upon from before them and from behind them and from their right and from their left, and You shall not find most of them thankful.. ' surah Al A3raaf 15-17...

This Aayah refers especially to the Path of Hajj.. The evil accursed shaytaan awaits on that route and in every manner causes them, the Hujjaaj, to worry and despair by way of obstacles, and by also providing for them numerous excuses in order to stop them from performing Hajj properly.. Shaytaans major aim with the Hujjaj en route to Makkah is to stop them from being gathered at Araafah..

At Arafaat, their hearts will cry out in repentance to Allaah, and their whole live's sins will be forgiven, wasting all the efforts of the shaytaan.. The Haaji should regard every grief, unrest, inconvenience and worry as an obstacle from shaytaan, and should fight against it...

THE WAAJIBAAT OF 7HAJJ: 1. To stop over at Muzdalifah at the time of Wuqoof.. i.e from the time of Subh Saadiq until just before sunrise on the 10th Thul Hijjah...

2. To make sa'ee between Safa and Marwah.. 3. Rami of the Jimaar.. i.e. to pelt the Jamaraat with pebbles.. 4. Damm-e-Shukr slaughter if the Haaji is a Qaarin or Mutamatti.. 5. Halq shaving the head, or Qasr t the hair.. 6. Tawaaf-e-Widaa - The Farewell Tawaaf for those living outside the Miqaat...

THE SUNAN OF 7HAJJ: 1. Tawaaf-e Qudoom for the Mufrid Aafeeqee and the Qaarin.. 2. Rami during Tawaaf-e Qudoom.. 3. The Imaam has to deliver khutbah at 3 places: a. On the 7th Thul Hijjah at Makkah.. b. On the 9th Thul Hijjah at Arafaah in Masjid-e-Namerah before the 2 Salaahs are combined.. c. On 11th Thul Hijjah at Menaa...

4. Not only the days should be spent at Menaa, but the nights are to be spent there as well.. 5. To proceed from Menaa to Arafaah after sunrise on the 9th Thul Hijjah.. 6. To depart from Arafaah for Muzdalifah with the Imaam.. 7. To spend the night at Muzdalifah after returning from Arafaat.. 8. To take ghusl in Arafaat.. 9. To halt at Muhassab on returning from Menaa, proceeding to Makkah, even if just for a moment..

The practice of placing official seals on all important correspondences was introduced. An edict was issued that whenever the new Ghilaaf (cover) is placed over the Holy Ka'bah the old one should ba removed. Until now the usual practice in this regard was that whenever a new Ghilaaf was placed it was fitted over the old one. Security arrangements were introduced by placing guards at the doors of all important persons.

He was the first person in the history of Islaam to build warships. The above are some of the important achievements of Amir Muawiyah r.a. while he was the Khalifah. He devoted himself fully to the office of Khilafat not permitting any highhandedness from any quarters, be it internally or from external sources. He always acted very wisely and with a great amount of foresight in all matters, assessing the situation immediately.

He always took those steps which would serve the interest of Islaam and the Muslims best. Amir Muawiyah r.a. and sayyidina Ali r.a. had certain differences between them.These differences were based totally on Haq (truth)They both intended well and worked for the upliftment of Deen. Each had taken steps which were based on Haq and were directed towards the betterment of Deen. Their actions were not motivated to serve personal interests. Allah forbid.

THE AADAAB OF 7HAJJ: It is sunnah to perform Istikhaarah when one intends to go on a journey.. However when one desires to perform any righteous deed, no Istikhaarah is necessary.. Yet, where Hajj is concerned, it is advisable that Istikhaarah is made before one proceeds..

MUSTAHABAAT OF HAJJ: 1. Men have to recite the Talbiyah loudly.. 2. Reciting the Talbiyah in abundance.. 3. Udhiyah *sacrificing an animal* by the Mufrid.. 4. To take the Ghusl at the time of entering Makkah Mukarramah.. 5. To stop near to Jabal-e-Ra7hmah in Arafaah if there is no congestion.. 6. To perform THuhar and 3ASR Salaah together in Arafaah with Jama3ah..

7. During the duration of Wuqoof at Arafaat to recite Talbiyah and make Du3aa in abundance.. 8. To halt at Mash'ar-e-Haram during Fajr of the Day of Arafaat.. 9. To perform Fajr Salaah at Muzdalifah.. 10. To make Tawaaf-e-Ziyaarah on the 10th Thul Hijjah..

THE AADAAB OF THE ZIYAARAH OF MADEENAH MUNAW-WARAH.. Nabee Sallal Laahu 3Alayhe Wasallam said: 'Madeenah is the city towards which was my Hijrah, there shall be my grave and from there shall I be raised up on the Day of Resurrection.. Its habitants are my neighbours.. It is the responsibility of my Ummah to care for them...

Whoever for my sake fulfills their needs, for him shall I act as an intpercessor or witness.. And whoever disregards my advice about my neighbours, him shall Allaah cause to drink of 'Tinatul Khibaal' a most distasteful punishment..'
