I know this is not a iPod forum, but I guess that this will be very useful to all iPod Video owners.Soon I will post all the files you need to put a hacked iPod Touch firmware onto your iPod Video, so that you will have a similiar user interface of the iPod Touch onto your iPod Video.Please don not post until I am finnished! |

Firstly you need to know if you are using a iPod Video 5G or a iPod Video 5.5G. If you go to music in the main menu and there is a option to search, you are using a iPod Video 5.5G.If not,then you are using a iPod Video 5G. Okay now we can start. Download the iPod Wizard program here : http://www.fileupyours.com/files/169688/ipodwizard-v1.3-release.zip.

Now if you are using a 5G iPod Video, download the firmware file here : http://download26.mediafire.com/ttfpldjli4gg/9zktdyjgoni/5G+iPod+touch.zip . If you are using 5.5G iPod Video, download the firmware file here : http://download297.mediafire.com/tjojyz5m5dvg/9gj0gkyyfys/5.5G+iPod+touch.zip. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you load the CORRECT firmware file.

its smooth.all menus are black,with the ipod touch icons,as well as new menu icons on the bottom of each menu.also u have a totally new redesigned now playing menu,etc.have a look at the screenshot.

Read ur reply again..No theres no ipod touch app. included in the firmware.It is a modified iPod Video fw with iPod touch userinterface,and some ipod touch features and everything works.
