Ok, so I finally got an ip4 after much deliberation and overall, very pleased indeed. However I do have a problem when trying to sync it with iTunes on 64bit windows 7. My iPod classic syncs, however when I plug in my iPhone, iTunes doesn't recognise it but my pc recognises the iPhone as a digital camera. Tried to stop and restart a number of iTunes related services in task manager. Before I do the reinstall, I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions before I admit defeat and just do it. Anyone experienced this? Any help would be much appreciated. Just FYI it was activated instore by the sales clerk

Apple Mobile Device usb driver was nestling away in my file system somewhere. installed it, had to track down the iphone in device manager, manually update the driver. bam, now it works. not that difficult really
