@ gooji - 25.03.14 - 04:43pm pr*nounced 'Arnie' And this Arnej guy. Not really that famous nowadays, his last biggest tune was The Second Coming way back in 2012 and enjoyed a brief period of sales then. And then he went dead. His remix of Adagio For Strings sealed his fate but he still remain active in the scene. His production is still cr*p and all. But...he never gave up. He teach the secret of making music on his facebook. He is not selfish in sharing ideas. He is himself on facebook and all. I like him as a person, his personality is unique among today producers and he doesnt have that 'ego'. |

And lets now compare Fisherman n Hawkins. I like them, their tune, Apache is superb. Think it went as top 10 in the asot end of the year top chart. Their follow up tunes are all similar sounding to Apache, which obviously they are trying to emulate the latter success without succeeding. Apache is a tune of its own. Heavily supported by superstar DJ Markus Schulz and played by many including Armin van Buuren, Orjan Nilsen, Paul van Dyk, and many more. The tune have got this distinct Coldharbour Recordings sound, it is so good that it is still being played in many sets even today. That tune launched Fisherman and Hawkins to stardom they never been to. Until this...

What the fk! It is not their tune As exposed by the great Arnej, it is done by Beat Service. Fisherman n Hawkins were using 'ghost' writers to write them songs, which were usually employed by Tiesto, Fedde le Grand, AVB, and more. No wonder the tune sound very much like what the label, Coldharbour Records, usually release. Good that Arnej shed light on this. I really don't mind that someone else produced, but at least credit the fellow. Even in pop and rock songs, they creditted everyone who were part of making the song. Its all about respect. Thats what music is about. |
