I can understand why people like them... They are pretty good. Possibly the most overhyped band ever. But still had great songs.

I still think 10 is a great album but they've never come up with anything to match it, as evidenced by you using songs off it to compare with Nirvana. Nirvana kicked down the doors for a new musical revolution in the mainstream, did Pearl Jam do that?

The only reason i used those 2 is because they are 2 from the same era as nevermind. And as for not doing anything better... Try the whole of the vs album and do the evolution

Hugzilla I was buying those albums before you started school mate. It's all opinion but what I remember from that time was Nirvana smashing the glam rock s*h*te to pieces. I know the snobs say they were just a Pixies rip off but they massively expanded the audience for that genre of music

I dont dispute that nirvana were the break through but i dont belive they were as good as pearl jam.
