Basically i'm fed up of listening to this band as everytime i try to listen to something else i go straight back to them. Anyone any suggestions of bands that are similar to this mighty band? The closest i can get to getting away from them for a bit is Kataklysm but the screatch does my head in lol. |

Listen to Svartsot. Very uplifting death metal with mandolin and tin whistle. They'd definatly be your thing

How about Ensiferum?

still gonna have a listen to svartsot as i'm not narrow minded with music but can't fully get into a band if i have no idea what they are singing about. ensiferum i had not heard before. downloaded the album iron and they are good but again are viking metal. i'm looking for melodic death (something with lots of aggression and some balls behind it). please no one suggest korpiklani or finntroll lol
