its not the most expensive... compared to Apple's Logic and Digi design's Pro tools. it supports a lot of formats like omf exports and plugins... it also has no latency problems when dealing with midi and less syncronization errors when dealing with large projects that chow away the cpu .

Logic - 280 gbp nuendo - 1200 gbp well i guess around that, not seen the rrp for a while. And i said except PT, which in fairness you can get different flavours with various prices. My point being Nuendo is geared to post-pro with many functions specific to that, if your making hiphop (apologies for assuming) it seems many features are redundant...the phrase using a sledgehammer to crack nuts springs to mind.

Having said that if thats what your comfortable with then use it, as for reliabilty etc what version you using? I upgraded to 4, quickly downgraded to 3 and then totally ditched it for DP due to frustrations

How you liking addictive drums metalboy? I used bfd and superior drummer. Just though superior drummer with the new metal foundary expansion pack would be right up your street
