i was disgusted when i purchased glenn campbells Wichita linesman only to discover it wasn't the original versions, but rerecorded 30 year later versions which were so timid it made snow patrol sound motivating.

When they re-release them put new tracks on them then its a winner! (pearl Jams ten album for example is an AMAZING rerelease)

What a pain in the arse! I download an album then six months later I have to do it again. I always forget to untick the tracks I already have and waste bandwith and electricity

In a way, it kinda punishes the fans that bought the album early. Although, it makes it easier for the artist to release a few new songs that, for some reason or another, didn't make the cut on the album the first time...so, it's a mixed bag
