Don't really like the feel of cd decks, prefer manually dropping in vinyl. I do most of my mixing digitally tho using my pc and an AKAI APC 40

Vinyl is the best for sound, but limits your record box as it's too heavy to carry a lot of tunes with you. Bet you wouldn't have the 1st clue how to mix properly stratboy

why is it sad they have gone to using cds/digital files, almost all EDM is produced digitally so why play back on a non-digital format

It doesnt matter to me. Vinyl feels gr8. I'm a vinyl junkie all the way but i'm nt necessarily against cdj's. Theyre cool if u want 2 mega mix n use 3 or 4 decks. Classic mixing is all on vinyl 4 me, as it really tests ur ability technicaly as a dj. Even sum dj schools in in still start off theis students on vinyl b4 moving 2 cdj's. The Soul Candi Music Institute is 1 of them.

I meant Even sum dj schools in S.A still start off their students on vinyl b4 moving 2 cdj's. The dj course at the Soul Candi Music Institute does that as well as FUSE Acedemy (dj school 4 females).
