and i LOVE the guys music, everything he's ever done. Even 'Snow's concept seemed about jesus, or maybe that was just my interpretation. Then again, Morse isnt subtle with his message

He was born in some nameless place in the midwest of America by hard working parents who were faithful church goers in the traditional sense. Which means it didn't really affect their hearts so much as was just one more thing they had to do, like going to work on Monday morning. Perhaps this accounts for Snow's unorthodox religious tendencies.

At some point in his teenage years our hero had a spiritual experience (which shall be left to your own imagination) and left home for New York City.Snow and the Knight start converting and healing other bad off people in the city. Junkies and wh*res and the like. Soon he has a street mission. He holds meetings in parks and wherever he can. His following grows at an astounding rate........

Now he's a big deal. He and the Knight create an organization called 'The Touch That Heals' organization or THO for short. Things go along all right for a while and then his ego begins to attack him. Right about the same time he falls for a girl who hates his guts. The irony of this guy who can see so much about people's lives

and yet has no clue what's going on with the girl he loves does not escape many. When he touches her he sees his own downfall. He sees himself on the street, drunk, strung out and near death. This sends him over the edge. He spirals down, winds up homeless himself and the vision becomes true.

Then in the end his friends come and lift him up, bring him to a hospital and back to life.......

see.... really Snow is a little 'The Lamb...' by Genesis, New York, sleaze and violence, surreal things happening.. it owes something to Gabriel's visions. But more than a few 'jesus'-like ideas too.. and whilst it's a fantastic album, up there with Tommy and The Lamb in the classic story-concept mould, i'm a little defensive when listening to anything morse coats with too much 'preach'..

yep been my problem with morse since snow as well, snow is a great album but everything he's done since has been very heavy handed with christian preaching.

Yeah agreed,i thought Sola Scriptura had some cool moments musically but lyrically it was a bit frustrating to be continuingly subjected to Morses belief systems...I respect that he has his religion that means alot to him but such things should remain personal in my opinion and passing certain judgements on a listener without religious convictions is a bit over the line for me.That said, ive never heard Snow so cant pass judgment on that front
