the number off appz doesnt matter, are u realy gna download all those appz? S60 probably also has thousands since v7.0 ,at the end of the day s60 kicks WM when it cms to Multimedia

Suppose it's not really what is best but what suits your needs.Small smartphones like a symbian n80 or a wm imate sp5m are only a little bigger than your average mobile phone,easily portable one handed sets.Applications/games are in abundance for both platforms but their's probably more software for symbian than for wm(smartphone ).Web browsing isn't ideal on smaller phones without touchscreen and

some also have a Dpad so not bad for gaming either.3rd party apps for wm(pocket pc)are great and as boirked mentioned their's thousands of them.The closest symbian equivalent would be a S.E. Uiq handset or perhaps the E90 which uses s60 symbian(no touchscreen but has a big screen lol).PIM functionality on symbian60 is not good.I've read comments on wm being unstable but from my own experience

I haven't encountered many problems with wm6 and i'd say wm is more stable than symbian.Applications for symbian seem to be in the lightweight category.You go out and buy a s60 with decent hardware and fill it with what? Lcg jukebox?!!ok I know their is prob better media apps out there and maybe the default one is quite good but I doubt it could match a wm app,something like my favourite conduits
