That's an odd one, although I've noticed that Bluetooth is almost supernaturally slow on this device and often the receiving device couldn't read the data, so I started using the Obex Bluetooth in Total Commander - it might be worth having a go with that.

Dunno really 'cos I haven't got Resco Explorer which I believe you have. I only use it for ftp, registry edits, obex bluetooth and renaming file extensions, all of which I believe you can do with Resco? Can't hurt to give it a go and see if it does stuff Resco doesn't though (there's always ONE thing your favourite file manager does best)

Make sure obex is enabled hklm/software/microsoft/obex then try using the default file manager to beam the file. @ bigz it's a nice app but not as good as Resco..resco opens zip, rar, has networking facility, recycle bin, map toolbar etc.

i tried with total now and it worked thanks garion. i dont understand it tho as i thought the apps would use the default BT to send files. so every app uses BT with other capabilities?? @photon is that a registry thingy? lol i dont know much about that yet.if yes do i have to set it to 1 or to 0 ? which one is enabled? i think 1?

stef got this from resco forums....Just open the settings and switch off the option Use IrDA via OBEX. If you will need to send the file via Bluetooth, choose Send To/Infrared recipient. The standard Beam window will open and it should activate the Bluetooth sending if it finds the peer Bluetooth device in range.
