Anyway.. The main point was that one of the acids we use is pretty much the most powerful acid you can get.. Just breathing the fumes from it for several minutes will badly burn your lungs and if you spill any on yourself it will soak through your skin and start to rot your bones.. So it's not very nice stuff..

If I were to drop a container of this acid, it would not only kill me but probably half of the people working in the factory!

I was told to wear full body protective clothing, gloves, a protective hood and a special mask over my face whenever transporting the large containers of this particular acid..

So today arrived and its the first time that I had to transport one of these containers of acid from the stores to the production line.. I put on all the protective equipment and drove extra carefully until I had delivered the acid to the designated location..

.... and then some guy wearing a tshirt, rolled up trousers, no socks and trainers instead of safety boots came and took it away with a pump trolley!!!! Unbelievable!
