@ newt182 - 19.03.14 - 11:10pm Yes it might seem obvious that society will collapse one day if nothing is done, but the NASA study shows we could have just mere decades to change things or face the otherwise inevitable. The biggest hurdle is corporations who want more and more profits won't play ball . It's estimated that cereal crops especially maize are decreasing in yield by two percent a year because of climate change and this could grow yr on yr if changes aren't made , at least to times of sowing and irrigation .nevermind Co2 emission .. |
