I wanted to watch Jack Ryan today. The dialogue was a bit soft so I jacked up the volume. Here was Jack sitting in the chopper. Then the chopper gets h*t by an RPG. I almost had a heart attack. How can I change a 5.1 speaker setup so that the dialogue is louder than the special effects.? It seems it is now a thing with action movies. The dialogue is in whispers, the sound effects are like 737's flying two centimeters above your ears. I stopped the movie right there. I didn't even watch it. Is there a way of changing this? |

Try disabling the Surround Sound function and enabling PCM. I think PCM is the new theater standard.
