We spoke to quite a few people who we're mostly on their way home. We gave out leaflets etc, personally i think everyone should do it at least once in their lifes, its a right eye opener. We gave out sleeping bags etc too.

@ mikeymk - 5.02.16 - 02:56am Every homeless person i've seen lately is 'white' btw. Just thought i'd add that. Quite what it suggests or reflects, i have no idea. Well the population overall is mainly white so i guess it figures that the homeless are predominantly white folk. |

There's a nice camp of working homeless down near the river... Sadly they've not farted out enough meal tickets to activate free s**t mode. |

@ ogdenz - 5.02.16 - 02:59am Many homeless refugees, migrants living on the streets, under bridges in London. Who cares what colour they are? Unless you are trying to imply something? I made it quite clear - are YOU trying to imply something..? Here in MK they are suddenly everywhere. Five years ago it was just the odd busker. Now you get people living out of a shopping trolley in every other underpass, bed fully kitted out, scrawny fkrs asking you for 50p, nice little plot with the dogs here and there, an entire culture of it developing faster than the latest housing estates. Every single one of them is white. And every single one i've heard speak is common english. I am not raising the point of 'what matters', i'm raising the point of 'what is'. |

Trainer for some course said: it's impossible to be homeless or starve in this country, unless you really WANT to.

Personally I think its linked to immigration. We still have unemployment here and a housing shortage, yet we still have record numbers of people coming into this country, obviously thats gunna push some people into homelessness.

maybe it's rent in the private sector going up or the fact some benefits people would wreck a home, therefore giving others a bad name, deposits are silly money now for benefits people to afford, it's a catalyst, they get sanctioned for something, can't afford the rent etc! if i had a mansion id let a few move in, no matter where they're from!

ur neighbours may stop u tho with court action.... it will bring down the value of properties nd crime will rise in the area more than likely.

every country should help others from other countries.... but there has to be some kind of limit, i am not heartless, far from it, but i see it here too, many of our own ppl are homeless, unemployed... crime sky rockets.... some unemployed nd homeless chose to be that way, but many don't ... and it really grates me how high the crime is in this country, but it is in many cases carried out by foreign nationals.... so some balance should be kept. how? i don't kno.
