@ bozzalad - 18.02.16 - 01:28am not a lot left now digits Exactly, that's why I think badgers should be culled |

Lots of wildlife need to be managed for the greater good of the ecosystem. Tree huggers tend not to understand this. Elephant culling here is an example.

@ kimjongl - 18.02.16 - 06:33pm Lots of wildlife need to be managed for the greater good of the ecosystem. Tree huggers tend not to understand this. Elephant culling here is an example. Exactly. Hunters target old males usually, this gives the young males chance to breed. Keeping animals locked up in boxes feeding them and feeding them until slaughter is much more inhumane than hunting an animal that has had a natural life in the wild. |

Yes I agree wildlife should be culled, when you find a feasible reason as to why I am a tree hugger |

@ lookslikezoom - 18.02.16 - 06:46pm why? because man is encroaching on to their territory because we have an uncontrolled, expanding population. and culling for the better of the environment is one thing. killing for fun is another. I think humans need to be culled, or are you one of those that only see the human race as deserving of this earth? killing for fun really piiissesssss me off. |

@ 9362 - 18.02.16 - 05:56pm Exactly, that's why I think badgers should be culled Badgers are a hedgehogs only native predator in the UK but they never used to eat them. It is only during the last 50yrs or so, when they have struggled more and more to find food, that they have turned on the hedgehogs. The reasons for this are believed to be broadly the same reasons that are causing hedgehog numbers to decline, destruction of habitats, road building and increased urbanization. |

Yet badger numbers are flourishing, likewise deer, and both need culling
