there was a story in the south wales evening post the other day of a bus driver who wouldnt let an old lady on the bus because her bus pass wouldnt scan properly, it was tipping down with rain aswell so the passangers all chipped in and paid her fair, the bus driver has been suspended , he sounds a right b****rd bet he was an ex traffic warden

Don't like buses. Prefer taking own car. Rather than being dependent on some Moody old git

people in london forget that busses are public transport. They believe that busses are there just for them. Had one guy a few weeks ago put one foot in my door and stood there talking on his phone. I said are you getting on or what pal. He said ''you will wait, untill i have finished talking'' so i started counting down from 5 loudly and shut the door on him, he had to move his foot pretty sharpish. As for bus drivers pulling away when people are running for the bus, well there are always gonna be people running for the bus, dont matter if the bus is sitting there for 1 minute 1 hour 1 day or 1 month as soon as you close the door someone will be running for it. Its a question of where do you draw the line ? do you wait for every single person and make everyone else late ?

One night, many years ago, it was ridiculously quiet. I was in a small bus on a spartan route. The driver knew all his passengers on that route. But i wasn't a regular. Part of the route meant a long loop. He asked where i was going again, i told him, so he cut out about 20mins worth of the route and took me straight across..
