Labour attempted to abolish public sector pay cap so that our Police, Fireman, Doctors and Nurses, who have worked unbelievably hard recently to serve, protect and help us, can have a much deserved pay rise. The Tories blocked the move and alot of them inhumanely cheered when the decision was announced. Make if that what you will |

Read that this morning. Not sure how true it is but I do think they deserve better pay. They work incredibly hard and long hours.

Well it's to appease Labour voters, see. Corbyn wants to raise the minimum wage to ten quid. That would mean a communist pay structure. Porters on the same money as surgeons, as the money available has to be distributed more evenly. I was looking forward to Labour winning power, so I could down tools and go work in Tesco stacking shelves for the same money. Easy life! You lefties... you can't ask for equal pay one week and more pay for firemen the next. Get it together, man. |

I disagree, in my work if minimum wage goes up then so does everyone elses so that the gap is maintained. I'm sure any decent business would do the same. And here we go again with the 'but but but Labour |

I'd just like more than 1 percent in 6 years, cos that's what I've had. I don't want thousands, I'd rather have an NHS. Even just 1 percent a year would be nice

Another u turn by the 'blood awkward ' woman ....and yet another grab at a Labour policy to try and gain public support ,except none will be honoured by them ..the .Conservative manifesto now bears no resemblance to that which they put out ,they completely misread the mood and desires of the public in most areas (except immigration )
