a secular state isn't going to want to endorse a religious doctrine by adopting it's tenants (sp?)

Laws of a country and the punishment of offenders should be one for all and not according to a belief or religious system

Once you get to know these people you find out they are no more different than you or me just trying to live and enjoy their life. to the full. The media, tv, and the news, and video uploads paint these folk as terrorists, savergies. because they dont fit in with the indoctrination of the church.

Nothing to do with church, I'm atheist, our laws are democratically elected laws of the land that apply to everyone. You can't have some things illegal for some people and not others. Different laws would contradict each other. It's messy enough as it is. You're free to do what you wanna do as long as its legal in the eye of the law of the land. If Jews want only kosher meat sold, then they can move somewhere they have that. And no I don't agree with Sunday trading, but i respect the law of the country I live in. |
