@ nomnom - 2.12.17 - 05:46pm bigotry is bigotry I'm sure that lot can't tell the difference between Asian, Muslim, and Isis extremist. They're all brown, oh noes, the fear of different, someone pwease save us I see no reason for a muslim to be able to practice their faith in Britiain, so long as they do it in their own time and aren't trying to indoctrinate anyone. Same for any other religion, and I am fairly anti religion myself being brought up strict RC nad being shunned and frowned at by adults who didn't like me asking questions about their illogical teachings I think it's partly due to responses like on no there all brown, is why groups like Britain first exist, it creates a vacuum, surely there is a middle ground where people can talk about what worries them without going to either extreme? I know a fair few brown people that are worried about the rise of islam |

@ say.what - 2.12.17 - 06:26pm I think it's partly due to responses like on no there all brown, is why groups like Britain first exist, it creates a vacuum, surely there is a middle ground where people can talk about what worries them without going to either extreme? I know a fair few brown people that are worried about the rise of islam If people can talk about the behaviours that worry them without grouping a bunch of people who may or may not be performing those behaviours based on their collective religious, cultural, or political beliefs, then there could be a space to talk about genuine worries.. Is that happening? Even the way you word 'the rise of islam' isn't really accurate (like what I said about brown people is inaccurate - I was being flippant) since there are plenty of islamic people who don't commit the behaviours that lead to islamophobia in the first place, if you get my meaning? |

Well it is the rise of islam, in England, it certainly wasn't like that 15/20 years ago.. So what about brown people that are worried about it? How do you say to them boo hoo scared of brown people.. Oh so it's not because people don't like brown people then.. Progress
