@ mikeymk - 29.03.20 - 09:28am Does it fkn matter..?! Well the social lockdowns will most likely have to continue until June, according to one of the UKs chief scientific advisors today. Kinda hoping we don't have a mega heatwave before then, or things could get tricky/sticky. |

A lot of people in the UK seemed to be thinking/hoping that the higher summer temperatures might help stop the spread of the coronavirus, as happens annually with the regular influenza season, unfortunately the evidence from countries with climates that are hotter all year round than the UK averages in summertime shows that warmer temperatures will have no detectable impact on infection rates.

Not once in the body, but the virus' protective shell is weaker in the heat, and easier to wash off. It doesn't survive many areas of direct sunlight, where surfaces are very hot to touch, but it survives just fine in shade. |

Unfortunately, like sunshine black light is linked to skin cancer. |
