@ peta - 2.05.20 - 03:20am Lol. I agree. When I first drank beer naturally I tasted those. Thought all beers were sh*t until I tried the craft and draught ones. Dont get me wrong i used to drink lager all the time when i went out but i never really enjoyed it, went through a cider stage as well before i finally found decent craft beers |

I know what you mean, because for me I dont enjoy beer unless theres a flavor that stands out. And I though all beers tasted the same until I ventured out. Plus fruity and flowery ones are my favorite. Cant take those other manly ones thats men develop the taste for. |

@ obi_jon - 29.04.20 - 04:41pm Sold exclusively in Scottish Aldi stores. Brewed by Williams Bros. of Alloa. It's still on their own website. http://www.williamsbrosbrew.com/beer I've had their Joker IPA, very hoppy but not too bitter, I quite liked it. Did my weekly shop in town this morning and found that it's currently Scottish craft beer week in Lidl. I picked myself up a couple of stouts by the the above mentioned Williams Bros to sample, one called Chokka Blokka Mocha and another called March of the Penguins. Also got myself some Luminous Lights, New England IPA, by 71 Brewing Co.(Dundee) which i've not tried yet either and 2 more which i've tried before, one called Small Giant, American Pale Ale by Stewart Brewing(Edinburgh) and Bravehop IPA by the Loch Lomond brewery. |

Need to return those beer bottles for deposit (when liquor store opens). Will be able to buy a whole bottle with that! |

@ ufohunter - 6.05.20 - 10:03pm Need to return those beer bottles for deposit (when liquor store opens). Will be able to buy a whole bottle with that! It's all in aluminium cans, which I shall be putting in the blue recycling bin once i've imbibed their contents. I doubt the scrap price would be enough for it to be worth me saving them up and taking them to a scrap metal dealer myself. It might appear as if i'm a heavy drinker/full time alcoholic but I can assure you i'm not, i'm just a beer nerd who likes to sample a lot of different beers(got to try them to know if you like them or not), not really to drink lots of beer all at once(except rarely on special occasions). I must admit that my home drinking has increased slightly under the lockdown(whose hasn't if they're honest?) but with the pubs all shut i'm still drinking less overall. |

Nice selection, i've not tried the Jet Black Heart yet and I don't recall ever having seen the Pale Ale before. Still got a couple of cans of their O-G Hazy in the fridge, might crack those later on. |

Still got a couple of cans of their O-G Hazy in the fridge, might crack those later on. I managed 2 cans of each except the Jet Black Heart. The pale ale is pretty clean and fresh, especially on a hot day. The Jet Black Heart is an american import, not the same as the one over here so looking forward to trying that. Have to say the Hazy Jane was my favourite though. |
