3 gens. Can go back to my great- grandparents. My paternal half: My last name + Boshoff (not that sure), Slater + Rudman (= half-Afrikaans, half-English) My maternal half: McDonald + sm*ts, van Woudenberg + Kent (= 1/4 Irish/ Scottish, half-Dutch and 1/4 English) Makes me 2/3 Germanic, 1/3 Celtic |

Pretty good on my Irish side, we've gone back several and traced most of the branches. I keep in touch with some, i know my grandmother's cousin's kids. It's weird how branches work at different speeds - we from my nan are a generation in front of them already, with our kids. Absolutely nothing of my Polish side. They all dead. Only survivor was my Grandfather, made it out of Nazi concentration.. so we just have his descendants, us boys. |

I knew my great grandmother, and can trace up to two generations after that. Thats about it really. |
