It's only a small percentage of the sea, and half of it's already melted compared to 50yrs ago. Also, ice shrinks once it turns back to water. There's no evidence that the shrinking ice caps have created permanently raised sea level - in fact, i've seen vintage photos of local flooding we haven't seen for many decades. |
