@ newt182 - 17.06.19 - 12:56pm Are you saying all the MPs who have held the role of Secretary of State for Health and Social Care have failed to do their job properly but you know how to fix the NHS? Or maybe the NHS has just been underfunded year after year. I'm saying the nhs is a mess and has been for years, a money tree for many involved in it |

@ obi_jon - 17.06.19 - 01:22pm That and the fact that there are now so many NHS bureaucrats and middle managers draining resources with large salaries and (at the taxpayer's)expense accounts, whilst they bog the whole thing down with mountains of unnecessary red tape. The four million patients that gps claim for that don't exist hardly helps And that is just the tip of a Very large iceberg |

man who hurled milkshake over Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage has been ordered to pay him compensation. Mr Farage had given a speech on 20 May in Newcastle before the European elections when he was attacked. Paul Crowther, 32, of Holeyn Road, Throckley, pleaded guilty to common assault and criminal damage at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court. He was given 150 hours of unpaid work assessment and ordered to pay Mr Farage 350 compensation. The hearing heard that Crowther had been sacked from his job as a Sky technical advisor. In the immediate aftermath of the incident, Mr Farage was heard telling a member of security staff that he could have spotted that a mile off. Later that day, he said: I won't even acknowledge the low-grade behaviour that I was subjected to this morning. I won't dignify it. I will ignore it. Perhaps keep buying new clothes and carry on. That'll teach him |

Government healthcare with wastage and red tape? Surely not. |

@ kimjongl - 18.06.19 - 02:27pm Should have had jail time. But at least he lost his job. Jail time? wtf? You want to lock up everyone who has thrown a drink at someone? The prisons would be full of mums and kids. He worked in a call centre, he will easily get another similar job. |
