my dad was a h0arder, it got worse the last 15 years or so of his life. We started clearing the stuff out when he died. It took 3 skips to finally get rid of all his h0ard. Its not as thou what he was keeping was any good, there was 1 or 2 decent things amongst the junk. The only decent stuff he had got nicked. A few days after he died someone broke in and stole all his radio ham stuff, bout 10k worth of stuff. Being a tight fisted old git he cancled the insurance about 2 years before, so couldnt even claim for the radio ham stuff pity as it would of given my mum a few extra quid to start a fresh.

@ mikeymk - 23.06.19 - 10:41pm I take lots of pictures but only to get a good one, so then I delete all but the best one before the clouds take em. Then crop it. I remember the days when I used a film camera, paid for 30 photos to get developed, and chucked 25 of them away outside SuperSnaps. Digital is saving you a lot of money! Lol |

i got an old kodak p880 digital camera, the lcd screen is about the size of a postage stamp. So i usually just end up pointing the camera in the general direction of my shot and taking 2 or 3 pics of the same thing. In the hope that 1 is semi decent.

I know a guy with a serious book h0arding problem. He literally has tons of literature. It was piled from floor to ceiling against the walls in every room of his house(even the kitchen and bathroom), stacked up on the landing and on both sides of every step of the stairs(you had to climb up his stairs edging sideways through a tunnel of books, if you wanted to use his bathroom.). He had that many books upstairs that their was a serious danger of the ceilings giving way under their weight.

Not at all, I am the opposite of a h0arder. Too much stuff around me stresses me out, I don't need much.

@ crimson - 23.06.19 - 05:48pm I'm a digital h0arder. I just never deleted stuff off my phone. And when my phone memory got full, I dumped it all on my laptop. Repeat times a million... But I'm slowly changing, I deleted over 20 000 images a couple weeks ago. I have lots more to delete. And no more dumping on my laptop. And I actually delete stuff from my phone now too. oh sh*t, I am DEFINITELY one of these too. lol |
