Veggie lasagne isn't that difficult, just use lentils for ground beef

Also, you can replace the pasta sheets with courgette/zucchini slices using your veggie peeler

Lentils in veg lasagne sounds repulsive. Vegetables usually work.

Lentils are inefficient by weight, compared to beans. Both are too carby to go with pasta imo. I suppose i have beans on toast. But then most people do too much bread and pasta, carbs should only be like 20 percent of a meal really, yet 50 percent seems to be acceptable and common. I don't think trying to replicate meat or substitute it in meat dishes is the answer though. We need bold, proud vegetarian designs, which could use more fruit content for starters.

Stop eating that bread, that is your worst enemy. But eating cheese turns out to be much better for you than most everyone thought. |

a lot of vegetarian burgers and meatballs use jack fruit, mostly for the texture. It tastes like cardboard thou.

@crail | 3 October 21 | |

@deusexmachina | 3 October 21 | |
