Do you think that penal labour is a good thing or not? Should we allow such a practice in today's age? |

Robots take jobs from civilians. Yeah, make them graft. All the jobs we don't wanna do. The worse the crime, the worse the grime - minor offences? Pack chickens in a fridge, do hot cast iron moulding, etc. Major offences? Sewage works, sewer cleaning, etc. If prisons were hell labour, we'd have three clear benefits: 1) These jobs would get done, and the money saved goes to good causes. 2) Prisons would actually work, and deter people from risking going back there. 3) We could give shorter sentences where applicable, as the time would be more effective, saving prison space/cost. |

I think punishment is a good thing, not sure of what work to give them but even if its up at 5 everyday to dig holes and fill them in or move massive piles of rocks or sandbags around all day its a good idea, better than them sitting around all day doing nothing .
