I am feeling congested this evening and a bit run down and went to get a lemsip in the kitchen but thought I would try making a potion, i used lemon juice, fine slices of ginger, tumeric , honey and some chilli flakes with boiling water in a mug, this done the job and I didnt need the lemsip. Does anyone else ever try making natural potions instead of medicines? |

I've tried similar in the past with salt water, garlic and honey with lemon (not together), kinda worked too.

Tumeric, ginger and garlic are quite strong natural things, ginger is especially strong as a pain reliever and anti inflammatory, tumeric is as well. Vitamin c from the lemon helps with the absorbing.
