@ bozzalad - 23.12.19 - 12:44am it is all overpriced That's a given. There is no such thing as a public transit that makes a profit, so everything is usually overpriced. |

There is no such thing as a public transit that makes a profit, so everything is usually overpriced. i work for a company, that sub contracts from London Transport. My company makes a profit a small one granted but a profit, otherwise they wouldnt do it. There are bus and rail services running at a loss, i will give you that. Out in the countryside the local councils are obliged to run a bus service, this is usually run at a loss. |

when mrs T and I were in russia, we got the train from st petersburg to moscow. The trains were absolutly fantastic it was a buillt train. Very modern and luxurious, and fast as fk, touched 285 kph at one point. It was a 4 and a half hour journey to moscow. Half way some stewardess came round giving out butties and a drink. We didnt know about that, mrs T was gonna nip to the buffet car anytime soon. But yea the trains were very good, and pretty cheap. It was about 29 dollars each.

If services were too efficient here, and making too much profit, they'd lose the government subsidies they currently work with. So instead of blossoming in the rewards of free enterprise, they're locked in the status quo. The good old clutches of socialist mediocrity are still hard at work on our public services.

Labour leadership contender Clive Lewis is claiming that racism was at the centre of the Brexit outcome. Do these butthurt losers never learn ? If he doesn't get the job, will he blame that on racism too ? |
