Do you have a regular sign off (either formal or jovial) when you send correspondence to someone? OR....... Do you remember receiving one you rather liked? |

I think these days a sign off seems to have been replaced with 'sent from my iPhone'........ Very odd behaviour...

Just the usual Kind Regards when sending work emails, unless the person I am talking to sends a thanks first then I do the same. No point having some kind of sign off in casual communication. Newt |

Really depends on the situ. I don't do all the hi/bye shyte, waste of time, and if you know who you're talking to then why would i even give my name..? I just answered a message on ebay tho. He was definitely a he, so i responded 'Hello fella' as ya do, and he got a 'Cheers, Mikey' because my username on there isn't my name. Not quite the case at work. There, my emails just have my name, nothing else. It's just like a sign-out. A type-written signature, if you will... ''...and this is the end of the email. Mikey ***** |

Usually best regards or kind regards. If it's formal it will often end yours faithfully. |

I don't know really, usually something like 'talk again soon'. And by that I mean 'please let me go now, I don't want to talk anymore. I don't want to offend you, and it's not you, I just need to stop talking now.'
