And if I upset any Trump supporters. I'm in the same friggen boat. I'm 100 percent Republican, albeit 1000s miles away on a different continent. |

I called it weeks ago. Das Trumpenfuhrer wants to postpone the election and is casting doubt on the result before a single vote is cast. Co-founder of The Federalist Society Steven G. Calabresi wrote this opinion piece in the NYT. http://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/30/opinion/trump-delay-election-coronavirus.html ''I have voted Republican in every presidential election since 1980, including voting for Donald Trump in 2016. I wrote op-eds and a law review article protesting what I believe was an unconstitutional investigation by Robert Mueller. I also wrote an op-ed opposing President Trumps impeachment. But I am frankly appalled by the presidents recent tweet seeking to postpone the November election. Until recently, I had taken as political hyperbole the Democrats assertion that President Trump is a fascist. But this latest tweet is fascistic and is itself grounds for the presidents immediate impeachment again by the House of Representatives and his removal from office by the Senate.'' |

Let me just translate that for your average, hard of thinking, Trump fanboys. ''I thought we were just 'owning da libs' but we're actually doing a fascism now.'' |

apparently he's backpedalled on that delay now, he must've got quite a bit of push back. I think even republicans are ready to see him go. |

So Trump says voting by mail leads to massive election fraud, whilst at the same time, one of his appointed henchmen has been deliberately sabotaging the effectiveness of the US Postal service. http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/postal-service-backlog-sparks-worries-that-ballot-delivery-could-be-delayed-in-november/2020/07/30/cb19f1f4-d1d0-11ea-8d32-1ebf4e9d8e0d_story.html Coincidence? I think not. |
