Well for a start i'd stop going to work... Actually, many years ago when i used to play the lottery, i thought to myself that i'd hold-off of almost any obvious actions, and give myself a few weeks for it to 'sink-in'. I'd take the time to reflect on what it meant, how best to handle the various changes it'll make in my life, and get advice on what my options were. Seems to me like this is the perfect time to win it.. |

@ ogdenz - 7.04.20 - 03:53pm Would you be annoyed if you won the Euro millions lottery this Friday? Id be rather surprised, seen as I have not bought it. Nonetheless, Id be happy, impatiently waiting for this to be over to squander it. |

I think you have to wait a few days for it to go into your bank account. If that is delayed it could cost you thousands in lost interest.

I'd be absolutely gutted. All that money must be such a hastle to count.

Yep,let someone else have the job. Someone who needs it.

I think old habits die hard. Id still want to feel useful and work. Having come upon a lot of money and not doing anything worthwhile would drive me crazy. Not a celebrity with a craft, with all my friends at work and going about their lives and I having money out my as s would make me miserable. I think a few months to adjust knowing I can do/buy whatever I want would be great, and then it would get real stale real quick.

I seem to recall that Camelot have(or had) some sort of in-house team that offers assistance and financial advice to lottery winners that request it. I think it was something to do with what happened to that chav(Michael Carrol?) that won the jackpot and then basically pissed it all up the wall in a few years, partying hard and building dirt bike tracks in the garden of the mansion he bought. |
