@ mikeymk - 11.08.21 - 09:33pm Actually it isn't, at least here, the Nuremberg Code gives us legal right to refuse the vaccine without penalty. Like can you fu*kin' read, orrr?.. No sh*t the vaccine isn't mandatory mikey and even if/when it is there are avenues of appeal everywhere/ exemptions. |

@ 3mel - 11.08.21 - 09:42pm I think they'll help lots of sectors of the economy get back on their feet more successfully in the short term. being able to say all our patrons, passengers or guests are on the lowest end of the risk spectrum will be a huge benefit. I certainly don't see them as tyranny, that would be misusing the word for one thing. as has been pointed out to you before a private business has always had the right to refuse service within justifiable reason. isn't that something YOU believe in ? haven't you defended Christians rights to discriminate on far less justifiable grounds ? when you get marched at gunpoint to get vaccinated against your will, then we can talk about governmental abuse of power. we're nowhere near anything like that yet. I don't think any businesses requiring passports are going to be on the inside track to recovery. Getting picky about your customer base only really works in niche markets. |

I didn't know until recently but QRcode scanning to enter businesses has been a (successful) thing in parts of the EU for months. if the kind of people that are offended by the very idea are also the non mask wearing brigade, some customers might be happy to spend their money and time in places that are going to free of such people for the short term. |
