@ vampboy - 3.08.20 - 06:33am you find it impossible to believe some people may simply be organized and funded by another source and driven by an agenda rather than just out there for altruistic reasons? That says more about you than anything else. White nationalist march: racist White pride march: racist White lives matter: racist, wants to oppress BLM Name me a single march based on being white that isn't considered racist? I wont hold my breath though. everyone's been on the slow pills again I see. look at what I wrote and try to find a fault with it. if white people marched in South Africa wanting more done about farmer murders I wouldn't consider that racist because... it isn't racist. white nationalism, white pride that's a no brainer. white lives matter can be both racist and people just being dim and getting lost in semantics. if the reasons for it are racist then it's racist, if they're not they're not. it's not rocket science people. |

I have been having great chats with BLM types, the ''We was kangs'' types etc. One of them was telling me about a Queen Califia who was a great leader and all this stuff who got to America before the Spanish. She insisted I research it, which I did.. Queen Califia was from a fictional novel, she was the basis for the name of California (possibly, among other possibilities).. but still fictional. These people are believing all kinds of crazy stuff from YouTube. They are claiming that African Americans are actually natives to America (thus displacing the indigenous people and rewriting history) it's incredibly racist and is basically akin to cultural appropriation. |

She said thankyou for setting her straight. I said that's fine.. it's still an amazing story. Even if Queen Califia *was* fictional.. she's still clearly a powerful symbol of something. There's a beautiful mural of her up in a hotel in San Francisco. But yes, there is a lot of misinformation going around and it can be hard to convince people that it's not actually true.

You only need to look at the fiction that is the bible to see how easily people can be fooled.

@shadow27 | 3 August 20 | |
was expecting a response like that. How very predictable.

@ogdenz | 3 August 20 | |
And yet you didn't predict it.

Talking of indigenous people, this has just reminded me of something I read last week about the latest news on the earliest known(pre-clovis) human inhabitants of the Americas. http://phys.org/news/2020-07-archaeologists-date-earliest-occupation-north.html |
