@ mikeymk - 13.07.20 - 03:05am It's really rather simple; NEVER GIVE DETAILS OUT ON A COLD CALL Only ever give details when you yourself have searched and found a source on your terms, via guaranteed sources. I don't give a shit what the story is. Ireally don't see what's so fucking difficult about that. Those who get scammed deserve it. Prove me wrong. Wait, didn't your bank account get emptied once? You got scammed somehow. Not by a cold call but you must have entered your card number into some dodgy site |

@ ufohunter - 13.07.20 - 05:07pm I'm just gonna move all my money, whatever's left over, into a fixed deposit - which I can do with the app. That's if they say who they are and know the details, which I hope not Still waiting for the email ..Or postage Who needs a friggen life policy anyway!? There's better ways of investing. pop this email address if you have it into google and see what results you get. |

Seems unlikely but it could have happened. It's not advised to use a debit card online anyway, because its so easy to get scammed. It happened to my missus the other week and she is internet smart and tech savy

Not by a cold call but you must have entered your card number into some dodgy site Yeah, my PayPal got hacked. A couple of days earlier I'd made my first Amazon transaction, paying via PayPal, so I blamed that at the time and stayed off Amazon for a while. Paypal refunded me the next day. That's what happens when you cover your asre and use reputable payment methods - but yeah, nothings bomb proof, though I believe PayPal has closed the weak link they used to get in. |

You can't really go wrong with PayPal and credit cards online

I know, I don't like using a card but I use a credit card when I do, as I figure that's safer than a debit card - though I'm sure the bank would refund me just the same. The bank sends a code number by text for the transaction, when I use a card, so that helps me feel a little more confident in it.
