Say you had come into serious money as a 20 year old. Do you think you would have been sensible with it or would you have blown the lot by the time you were 30? |

I was thinking of that idiot who won the lotto but blew it on stock car racing and bling. He now works as a binman. I wonder if every winter's morning when he has to get up he regrets his squandering a multimillion pound fortune?

I'd like to think I'd set aside some to nuts with and the rest to put towards the future but it's hard to say. a year later would've made a difference I'm my thinking.

Sadly knowing what I was like with money as a 20 year old I reckon I would have frittered it all away within a couple of years.

I've always been sensible with money, own my own place, army pension, state pension, work pension and save my money and what I have left I spend on what I want, I think if I won the lottery that would all still continue but on a larger scale after I sorted out my family and friends to make sure they are comfortable .
