All over social media.... if only that remained the case when a cop killed a criminal element in a subsequently rare incident. We wouldn't have so many destroyed historical artefacts and an undermined national security.

@ogdenz | 26 September 20
So do you want people to be able to protest or not? This is a rare incident too.

@ ogdenz - 26.09.20 - 04:37pm So do you want people to be able to protest or not? This is a rare incident too. Your rights end when mine are infringed. Those protests ended up as mass riots and became leverage for rioters to loot, steal and destroy. So yes, if only the outrage remained on social media like this event, don't you think? |
||
@ogdenz | 26 September 20
Nobody is trying to infringe your rights are they? It's not for me to judge...I can hold an opinion yes.
|
||
@speedracer22 | 26 September 20
Not mine; but the hundreds maybe thousands of local businesses including businesses from the black community that were maimed and destroyed would probably beg to differ. It's simple observation; we wouldn't have this mess if the outrage remained on social media. |
||
@ogdenz | 26 September 20
Indeed . However that's not always the reality. As you yourself have observed. |
||
@speedracer22 | 26 September 20
I have, which brings us back to Shadow's earlier point; the outrage isn't quite the same when the sides were shifted. Some would say a social media outrage is hardly the same as one taking place in a city in the middle of a pandemic.
|
||
@ogdenz | 26 September 20
I agree the two are different. There's a time and a place. During a pandemic is a bit stupid to be honest.

@deusexmachina | 26 September 20
I don't know anyone who isn't outraged. Well actually one, but he is a pus*y.

Can't believe this isn't being reported by the British press
