@ vampboy - 10.02.21 - 01:33am What is his legacy like in Scotland today? His Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Idi Amin Dada, VC, DSO, MC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular'' was indeed a controversial figure with a lot of opposition from all sides of the political spectrum. But did the Scots find historic affinity with the general especially when it came to their mutual ties when it comes to fighting and maintaining independence from the English? He was considered the conqueror of the English and the true last king of Scotland after all. Do Scots cherish the time he ruled over Uganda and figuratively as the Queen does over Scotland? Papheid |
