In early May, doctors in India began raising the alarm about a rise in mucormycosis - a rare and potentially deadly infection also known as black fungus. Many of those being infected are coronavirus patients, or those who have recently recovered from COVID-19, whose immune systems have been weakened by the virus or who have underlying conditions - most notably diabetes. In the past few weeks, thousands of black fungus cases have been reported across the country, with hundreds hospitalised and at least 90 dead. |

I think some folk have had to have their eyes taken out in order to stop the fungus from spreading.

India is in a bad shape, already without corona.

Yes, ogdenz. It builds up in cavities in your face. Shocking. 21st century and people are being killed by fu*king fungus. |

They've also discovered a yellow fungus that's also eating India's Covid patients. http://www.rt.com/news/524737-first-case-yellow-fungus-covid-india/ |

I'm more worried over this new possible human prion disease found in Canada Prions are the worst of the worst, even anthrax. If you get it, parts of your body start the transformation into prions.. You can pass it easily onto others in surgery rooms. New CT scanning equipment must be used after every patient to reduce the risk of contamination. |

Brain surgery equipment 'has to be destroyed' and out of the hold of any other living organism to reduce the risk of passing it on to other organisms.

The entire planet can come to a standstill if there were to be a prion extinction event.

It's worse than I realised. It can even be ingested... through plants which managed to grow in the same spot where an animal that died from prion disease. It's a domino effect in action.. Thorough sterilisation of infected area/s must take place. And that's not by standard means. Prions are very difficult to destroy/neutralise. |

@ 3mel - 27.05.21 - 03:08am *or any other extinction event Cross-species contamination is at the apex level among prions.. next to volcanic/meteorite extinction event. |
