i was in the library playing an IRC MUD called Equinox (mircx). Suddenly people started talking about plane crashes and linking to videos of them.

If it wasn't plastered everywhere people would soon forget. Same as Diana. Force fed by the media

I was driving a red Ford Escort XR3i along Watling street, past the Vauxhall garage. I ejected a cassette tape for whatever reason, and so the radio intervened. ''Obviously there are no planes in or out of America due to what's happened.'' I'm sat there thinking, what? That sounds a bit serious. I soon ended up at the Panasonic shop in the town centre, where a crowd of people were all stood around the televisions on display, watching planes fly into buildings. I'm stood there like, wtf? That's happened this morning..? I will never forget. I remember it like it was today. Good car, that was. Mint condition, and totally standard, which was getting unusual even then. Not fast, but nice to kick about in. |

It still gives me goosebumps watching news footage of that disgusting crime.

Id actually kinda forgotten. There's so much going on at the moment in normal life its just a fleeting memory these days. Even when friends mention it, all that is said is I can't believe it's been 20 years. Then leave the conversation at that even if you respond |

It really doesn't seem 20 years ago since that day. It only seems like yesterday.
