Why as it took so long for the driving problem to be solved by the armed forces?

id rather see the army delivering petrol, than invading countries and killing innocent people tbh. Up in scotland at the moment the army are driving ambulances up here.

Petrol doesn't last, it goes stale (chemical composition degrades). There's a surplus of fuel due to lockdown. Our petrol is being replaced with E10, containing ethanol, which destroys the fuel systems in older cars. The hysteria has helped to sell off all the old petrol and it's unlikely that fresh good stuff will be around for long, as E10 is brought in. I experimented with ethanol in petrol with my old modified '80s VW on carbs, and it killed the pump, lines, and tarnished the brass fuel jets. So if you have an old car/bike/etc, maybe it's not such a bad idea to go and fill the tank whilst you can still use it.. |

Just been reading about that E10 petrol, loads of people complaining about the fule economy. You don't get any where near the MPG compared to usual stuff.
