Geese are flying back home from thier holibobs. But living out here it brings the shooting. Yes they shoot the poor birds as they take off from a nature reserve. |

Stuff em. We have lots of geese here and they invariably have an attitude problem. Hate the bloody things.

With a shortage of turkey envisioned for the Christmas holiday, get as many geese shot as you can now. Not only is it nice meat, the fat makes the best roast potatoes

Who will prepare and transport these geese? The same people that won't be transporting and preparing turkey's by any chance?

I cba to butcher my own goose. I'll just go to the farm shop and get one they've done, all on site. Purdey, Land Rover, farmer's wife, and a British bulldog clearing up the trimmings. Wonderful.

Shooting them for fun. Not even to eat.

It probably is fun. Beats doing it on a proxy games console.

No geese or ducks in my area yet. I don't hunt them because it is way too easy to make friends with them. But will I refuse duck or goose for a holiday meal, no. |

@ ogdenz - 29.09.21 - 11:10am Who will prepare and transport these geese? The same people that won't be transporting and preparing turkey's by any chance? I'm guessing if you are shooting the geese it would be you, transporting them in your car. |
