Wild geese can be a bit tough/stringy and too gamey for some people's tastes, a nice fat farmed goose makes for much better eating and it will feed more people. Oh and it's turkeys that gobble, not geese, which honk. Although they do come in gaggles. |

They say if you see a robin its a loved one who has passed thats thinking about ya. We have several robins. Seen a robin chick this summer but never seen him again...hmm? We also have crows and magpies. All creatures great and small but they are a pest. They dig up my dogs bones |

I had some Canadian Geese fly around my property a few times and some Wood Ducks have probably settled down for the winter in my pond. No, I don't hunt them because I like their company.
