@ sisfreak2017 - 21.11.21 - 10:04pm I don't have it very often, but when I do have it, I just use cocoa powder. Any particular type of cocoa powder? I like Cadbury's Bournville one. I've found it's easy enough to customize your own 'instant' hot chocolate mixture. Just need a good cocoa powder, sugar and coffee whitener/milk powder. You can have a play around with the ratios until you find what works best for your personal taste but I find that 3 heaped teaspoons of cocoa to 6 of whitener(I use coffee mate) is about right, then one or 2 sugars per mug depending on how sweet you like it. |

I just use any that's in the cupboard. Usually the Cadbury in the red tub..

In the late '80s i used to have Waitrose own, it was in a gold tin. I had a mug every evening, with biscuits, whilst watching stuff like Treasure Hunt. Bit previous, but this just reminded me. I have no idea what their current one is like. |

Hot chocolate and cherry sauce is nice. Add a wee bit of coconut for a more exotic taste...yeah

found a sachet of drinking chocolate in my computer bag, yesterday. When we go away i will usually pinch the chocolate, sugar and coffee thats left over, from the tray in our room, found 3 hot chocolate, 2 coffees and 6 sugars. Considering i have hot chocolate once every few years, thats gotta be 10 years supply

@ obi_jon - 21.11.21 - 06:03pm Do you like them? What's your favourite? Which brands do you like/recommend? Cheap and cheerful instant from a jar or the posh/expensive stuff hand made by artisan chocolatiers? hug in a mug hot choc for me. |

I haven't had a hot chocolate in a long time, probably twenty years. Now that I have remembered it I'll have to get some tomorrow.
