@ shadow27 - 18.12.23 - 01:39am Nobody really wants to answer this question. Apparently the concept of taking in refugees and making them citizens is a purely Western thing. But I answered this question weeks ago. I don't understand this question. Its either disingenuous or stupid. Why must Palestinian people leave their land and homes in the first place? Are you saying they must pack up their families and children, leave their jobs and end their careers to go and live in destitution as refugees? I can't believe this is the level of discussion people are still having. Israel does not have a right to take that land or kill these people for it. What is wrong with some of you? |

@ alanball - 18.12.23 - 08:42am Pretty sure it's been answered but if not I will answer it. Israel wants the permanent expulsion of Palestinians, and the countries around Israel knows this and don't want to play in to Netanyahu's hands. To add to this, Muslims don't usually want to be refugees in another Muslim country as they treat refugees as second class citizens. And to add to both comments, most Gazan's aren't permitted to have a passport so once they're gone they're gone, many don't want to leave their homeland. So you can quote yourself and give yourself a pat on the back as much as you like, it doesn't mean you're not talking sh*te. This is largely true.. While It would be a good thing they dont wanna play in Netanyahu's hands, they should play another important role in supporting Palestininans stay strong in their land. I mean all types of support in cluding political and humanterian. All Arab and Muslim countries need stand in Palestiniann side and face that ugly expulsion plans. |

@ trunking - 16.12.23 - 05:43pm Why can't they just live in peace?? Israel cannot live without stealing more and more land, and never accepted the two-state resolution. --- There was once back in time an opportunity when both Hamas and Pal Authority were happy with a state on 1967 borders, but Israel has never wanted go in that direction. |

@ trunking - 16.12.23 - 12:46pm Egypt is pathetic. People can't even move from Gaza into Egypt. Egypt/Gaza borders are not controlled by Israel (believe it or not). Though Israel has no legal power on that border, Israel continues to force its decision. This includes both people and aids crsossing to Gaza. Very limited number of injuured people were allowed out (but guess what? Israel was the one to allow them name by name including the injured peroson companion). Also, for all aid trucks, Israel force them to get inspected in another place before they can cross to Gaza. Very limited trucks were allowed in, and even since recent, borders are closed completely. |

@ trunking - 14.12.23 - 12:36pm Are you going back to Gaza if there's funeral services? I don't think you'll get in with all that's going on. Your entire family should've moved with you. It's a crappy situation. one by one and in brief.. --- funeral services? there's currently no funeral services... could be limited in south of Gaza strip only. In Gaza city and northern Gaza, when anyone killed, then your time is very limited get him/her buried. Israeli army was targetting one cemetry in northen Gaza as well, and the main one in Gaza is clode to east borders so nobody is currently being buried there. Many people, instead, bury the killed ones in open lands or garders. believe it or not, my parent were buried in an open small garden in front of my brither in law house (with hope, once this done, they can move them to cemetry) Also, Egypt Gaza borders are now closed and nobody allowed in... It was open few days only in the past but only for people in north sinai and cairo, not from overseas can cross. Also, imagine you go in then get stuck for long time, how tough would that be |

They should have moved with me out? I moved to Aussie from Singapore as a skilled professional. They were all in Gaza as per usual. They have their life, their house and their work, etc... My Dad is a retired teacher and was also working in agriculture with my siblings. This is the way thery survie and nobody would ever want go from some sort of life to no life On what basis they can come here? almost impossible except temporary visit. From the other hand, if you compare cost of living, flights, visas etc then many people cannot bear it... maybe in Egypt is better options but also Egypt is very strict for Palestinians and when someone stay few days longer for valid reasons, they get fined at borders. |

The Palestinian girl from the Gaza Strip, Donia Abu Al-Hassan, wished to become a doctor who treated children, but a missile fired by the Israeli occupation at her bed in Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, south of the Strip, assassinated her and that dream with her. Donia (13 years old) was receiving treatment at Nasser Hospital after her legs were amputated, following a raid that targeted her family home, which led to the death of her parents and two of her brothers. According to what the doctor at Nasser Medical Hospital, Muhammad Zaqout, revealed to the camera of Al Jazeera correspondent Wael Al-Dahdouh, Donia was sleeping in her bed in the maternity building at Nasser Hospital when a tank shell penetrated the ceiling of her room, hitting her directly in the head. He said that her brain was scattered on the wall. Dr. Zaqout stated that the Israeli enemy did not warn the hospital, and did not provide any evacuation order, stressing that the clashes between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupation forces were taking place in Khan Yunis, and not in the area where they were located. He described what the occupation army committed against the child, Donia, and against Nasser Hospital, as a heinous crime, and said that it was a clear message that the hospital had also become a target. -------------- Just one story of 100s that beyond imagination |
